Earning my degree at Le Moyne College has been a transformative experience, both academically and personally. As a student at an institution that values intellectual rigor, service, and community, Iβve been challenged to grow not only as a future educator but also as a reflective, engaged member of society.
Le Moyneβs commitment to cura personalisβcare for the whole personβhas shaped the way I approach my education and, in turn, how I envision myself as a teacher. The coursework has provided a strong foundation in pedagogy, educational theory, and classroom management, while also encouraging me to think critically about equity, inclusion, and the broader purpose of education.
Beyond the classroom, Iβve had opportunities to apply what Iβve learned in real-world settings, including volunteer work, field placements, and collaborative projects. These experiences have reinforced the importance of adaptability, empathy, and lifelong learningβqualities that Le Moyne consistently fosters in its students.
As I continue working toward my degree, Iβm grateful to be part of a learning environment that not only supports academic excellence but also inspires me to become a teacher who leads with compassion, integrity, and a deep sense of purpose.
