Earning my degree at Le Moyne College has been a transformative experience, both academically and personally. As a student at an institution that values intellectual rigor, service, and community, Iāve been challenged to grow not only as a future educator but also as a reflective, engaged member of society.
Le Moyneās commitment to cura personalisācare for the whole personāhas shaped the way I approach my education and, in turn, how I envision myself as a teacher. The coursework has provided a strong foundation in pedagogy, educational theory, and classroom management, while also encouraging me to think critically about equity, inclusion, and the broader purpose of education.
Beyond the classroom, Iāve had opportunities to apply what Iāve learned in real-world settings, including volunteer work, field placements, and collaborative projects. These experiences have reinforced the importance of adaptability, empathy, and lifelong learningāqualities that Le Moyne consistently fosters in its students.
As I continue working toward my degree, Iām grateful to be part of a learning environment that not only supports academic excellence but also inspires me to become a teacher who leads with compassion, integrity, and a deep sense of purpose.
