This is my third year teaching. Currently, I teach fourth grade comm. arts. Before that, I was teaching fifth and sixth grade writing.

Embracing the chaos and loving every minute. With testing, standards, assemblies, meetings, needing to eat, etc. it can feel overwhelming. I just focus on "what do my kids need?" and roll from there. I try to make things interactive and allow students' personalities to shine. We laugh, love, and LEARN! My goal is that they leave my classroom a better humanoid with more brain power.

I attended the University of Central Missouri. I participated in their clinical program that allowed me to learn IN the classroom instead of behind a desk. It was awesome!

I have a dog named Chico and a cat that is twice the size of him named, Royal. I also love tacos and Jesus!
