These are the 5 rubrics I developed for a public speaking course. Students read a segment from a famous speech, tell a personal story, teach an informative lesson, present an argumentative topic, and deliver a monologue. (You may also want my free peer evaluation forms as well.)

As students deliver speeches these are the peer review forms I have their classmates fill out. Each student gives both positive feedback and a suggestion for improvement along with a comment in a specific area such as: volume/tone, body movement, introduction/conclusion, "filler words" (like umm, ahh, etc.), speech content, and eye contact. After I read them I cut each student's name off the top and then give the feedback to the speaker.
