As students deliver speeches these are the peer review forms I have their classmates fill out. Each student gives both positive feedback and a suggestion for improvement along with a comment in a specific area such as: volume/tone, body movement, introduction/conclusion, "filler words" (like umm, ahh, etc.), speech content, and eye contact. After I read them I cut each student's name off the top and then give the feedback to the speaker.

Experience

For 8 years I taught multimedia, creative writing, public speaking, and 11th grade English at Brockway Area High School. I was chair of the English department and a cross country coach. I also taught 2nd grade at Hughes Primary School in Australia for 1 year. I now teach multimedia at Fox Chapel School District in Pittsburgh, PA.
