Cha Ching is a fun way for students to practice place value comprehension, reading larger numbers and strategy. Game can be played with 2 to 4 players and rules can be modified to differentiate (remove cards to play to thousands, ten thousands or hundred thousands). Print poster size and laminate for years of fun.

This set of 36 tasks cards asks students to identify different representations of an equation (array, numberline, algorithm, word problem etc.). This can be a partner sort activity or a full class activity. For some reason my students like cards thrown on the ground! Students tend to stick to a single strategy, this reminds them there are multiple methods.

These are the Place Value and stragegy cards for the ChaChing! board game. From 2 to 4 students can play, practicing their place value knowledge, reading of larger numbers and strategy skills. Print in color on cardstock and laminate. The set includes 6 pages of cards (actually enough for two games as it gets more competitive with less cards). Nines are illustrated so that they can't be confused with sixes. Enjoy.
