Earth Science - Minerals: This foldable for interactive notebooks can be used as a complete foldable ready for student use, as a guide for note-taking, or as a teacher key. Divided into ten sections, the foldable includes basic descriptions of tests that can be used to identify minerals: crystal form, luster, cleavage, fracture, hardness, specific gravity, color, magnetism, streak, and reaction to acid. It includes a completed foldable and a blank that can be customized to fit your own needs.

It includes a complete flipbook that can be used as-is, a flipbook with the main headings and graphics only so you can add your own notes, and a flipbook with the main headings only to allow for your own adaptations. I generally use this at the start of our rock and minerals unit.

Earth Science – Astronomy, Moon Phases, Movement of the Moon around Earth This is a one-day to two-day lesson that teaches the phases of the moon.
