About the store

I have taught first grade for 10 years and love every minute of it! I've spent a lot of time mastering reading, math and writing. More recently I've been working on STEM integration, PBL and also Design Thinking! My favorite challenge during my day is to re-think how I am teaching to make it more exciting and engaging for my students.

Fluency in computation is so important, and subtraction can be difficult for elementary students! Included are several subtraction fluency assessments that correspond to computation strategies. As you teach the strategies, you can give these to students to ensure they are gaining fluency. Assessments included build up to both fluency within 10 and also within 20.
