This power point is a jeopardy game made to review a 4th grade weather unit. Topics include clouds, air pressure, fronts, precipitation, weather instruments, and natural disasters related to weather. Many slides contain pictures.

Students will complete 4-6 problems each day, Monday-Thursday. A quiz may then be generated for Fridays. Each day of the week, problems look very similar, but with different numbers so students can apply the concept being taught with new numbers throughout the week. Weeks 1-8 focus on place value, addition, subtraction, and probability vocabulary. Recommended for 1st half of 3rd grade or late 2nd grade. The quality student tracker was developed as a tool for tracking behavior (positive and negative) and to provide a tool for establishing consequences (positive and negative) for students. Each student gets a new tracker each month. The Infraction Key at the bottom should reflect your class/school rules. 2 different review sheets in the same format, designed to assess students understanding of 3rd grade (VA standards) for multiplication and division. This includes related facts (fact families), multiplication up to 2 digits X 1, and arrays.

Use this scavenger hunt as an ice breaker on day 1. Students will learn about one another and you while you learn a little about them. With my class, I had students write sentences about one another based on what they learned during the scavenger hunt. This introduced me right away to their writing skills!
