My goal as a school counselor is empower students to become the masters of their own experience! I emphasize in mental health issues and in identifying the underlying root to behavioral and social/emotional issues that impede on a student's ability to succeed academically! I do this in a number of ways. Below are 4 examples of the many types of products you will find on my store.
<br />
1) I use motivational interviewing techniques with students to help them realize the difference between the choices they are making and the kind of person they want to be. Check out the tool below for a pratical way to use motivational interviewing with your students.

2) I also help students build resiliency by identifying the things that they can control in their lives. Students with a history or trauma especially benefit from these excercises, as they reduce anxiety and anger and help them focus their energy on themselves! Below are links to my best-selling control circle products.

3) I also use Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) approaches to help students focus their thoughts on positivity. Here is a CBT small group I use for this purpose with elementary students.
