Experience

I've been an educator for over 15 years. I work with a collaborating teacher to provide a high-quality, challenging education to ALL of our students.

My own education history

I grew up in Los Angeles, California and attended public school all of my life. I am an advocate for our public schools and truly feel they are a gem in our country!

Additional biographical information

I began my career working with English learners from grades K-8, but I am currently a credentialed English teacher for grades 6-12. I work at a high school in southern California, and I really love what I do! I currently collaborate with a special education teacher and teach honors, so my students range in their abilities. I thoroughly enjoy providing all of my students access to challenging curriculum and current issues.
