Groups can research an assigned amendment and complete the worksheet to keep their research on task. Then they can present. I do this worksheet with the Reconstruction Amendments (13, 14, and 15th Amendments). Works really well!

Your young students will love this experiment! Anything that involves water they seem to get really excited about! Students will test 3 materials to see how well they work to absorb water. They will document their process along the way!

Vocabulary recording sheet. Students can record definitions, examples, pictures, etc for each of their vocabulary words. Print as many pages as you need for your weekly word list. Each sheet has space for three words, if you need more simply change the numbers on the lefthand side to account for your wordlist.

I use this with my 6th grade science class. I print one copy at the start of the year and they keep this copy in their binder so they can always access the format and rubric as they are writing up their lab notes. Seems to work pretty well for us! Hope it helps you too!
