Students will utilize the engineering design process while designing a parking lot for a school. They will collaborate to sketch and then transfer their design onto a large piece of tagboard. Students will listen to 2 podcasts (4 to choose from) about the future of transportation. They will respond in writing by completing title, summary, reflection, and concern/question. My class completed this during our flight/space unit to continue the discussion about the future of transportation. They enjoyed the variety in activities. Could be a GREAT sub day if you need quick plans! Enjoy!
