I have been a classroom teacher since 1989. I have taught Kindergarten, First Grade, and Fifth Grade; most of my experience has been in Fifth. The years I spent teaching in K and 1 were beyond valuable for teaching in the Science Lab. I am currently teaching 5th Grade Science and History.
Andy Thelwell created an amazing electrical circuits virtual lab complete with interactive sections and quizzes. I have created a student guide for exploring electrical circuits with his webpage. With this guide, you can be sure that your students get the most out of the time they spend investigating electric circuits when you are in the computer lab or at a tech station.
Snow Globe States of Matter Review
3 Sided Stand-Up Book
Illustrate Frosty the Snowman going through the 3 States of Matter.
Assembly: Cut out each snow globe carefully. Fold in half symmetrically (like a hot dog). Glue the patterns back to back to back to create a stand up model. Paper clips can be used to hold the pages together until the glue dries. A loop of yarn can be added to the middle when gluing to create an ornament.
Who doesn't love a homework pass? 6 passes per page. Student fills out and turns in in lieu of assignment. I have included space for name, date, assignment title, and teacher name.

This is a testing review game board to be used with your existing task cards. Students compete to see who will become a 'Mad Scientist.' The game board has a Minions theme. Although I created this game for my own Science class, it is not subject specific.
