Students can use the flashcards to learn lunar phases or to put them in order from new moon to full moon and back to new moon. The description on the flashcards also gives students an idea of when the moon will rise so they can view that particular phase. I am originally from Boulder, Colorado so I love to get outdoors and hike etc. It is great being in Arizona where I have an abundance of very cool geologic areas to teach about in my earth science classroom.
