About the store
I began my career in the 1990's as an English As a Second Language teacher. I daily worked with student from K-8 from multiple language backgrounds. Since 2000 I've since taught full-day kindergarten, 2nd grade, 4th grade and 5th grade general education classrooms, always with a high number of English as a Second Language students. Beginning with the 2012-13 school year I've been a 7th grade science teacher. My plan is to stay in middle school science until I retire.

Alfred Wegener - Pangaea - Continental Drift - Plate Tectonics - Video Guides

No prep, great for a sub day, can be used together or individually. Worksheets have the videos linked directly on the paperwork.  You can use all three papers or mix-match as you like. Personally I do the Intro on a short day to begin the unit and the other two pages are glued into their notebooks. Three pages of notes. Fill-in the blank video notes. Answer keys are included. All video links were verified July 2025. Please check prior to purchase. The Theory of Continental Drift: Mike Sammartano

Teaching style

I'm much more concerned with students being able to think, analyze and justify then memorize vocabulary and information. I include lots of focused discussion time in our lessons and activities. Students learn that I value their sincere questions and that we'll make realizations and put pieces together to come up with logical answers to their questions.
