Additional biographical information

Hi, I'm Ana! After 15 years in the classroom, I now create lessons full-time —but you'll still find me volunteering in high school science classrooms and environmental programs in my district. I'm certified in biology, environmental science, earth/space science, gifted education, and exceptional student education, and I specialize in high school biology, earth science, astronomy, and environmental science. My resources are NGSS-based and built to make science fun, rigorous, engaging, and accessible for all learners. Whether you're looking for complete units, graphic organizers, station labs, reading comprehensions, or ready-to-go lessons, my goal is always to save you time and spark student curiosity. When I'm not designing lessons, you'll probably find me hiking with my dogs, tending to my rare houseplants, lifting weights at CrossFit, reading both fiction and nonfiction, or wrangling my pet goose, chickens, and ducks here in sunny Florida. I am a science nerd through and through and happily married to a fellow nerd and environmental scientist. I truly believe science is for everyone—and that it should be your happy place too. Thanks for stopping by—and as always, Happy Sciencing!
