I used this handout when reviewing and going over weather/climate with my students. After studying the words, I had them come up with a definition for each word in their own words. Then, I had them look back over some examples we had put in their journal and find some key words we had seen (ie: 'average, 'usually' for climate). After learning about different careers in engineering, I had students choose one that they were really interested in and fill in this paper. I then took a picture of them and made those pictures into a bulletin board. I also had students draw pictures of things related to that field of engineering. (bridges and buildings for civil engineers..etc.)
