This resource can be used with and without playing cards. You may have to use mini playing cards depending on the print size you choose. Learners could place the cards on the mat (paper) in the boxes or write the number from the card in the boxes. You could use number flashcards if you have them available. I print them double sided and laminate them so that my learners can use dry-erase or wet-erase markers. I have my learners count the numbers in the ones column and if they need to be regroupe
