This thick slides assignment allows student the opportunity to diver a little deeper into understanding how the immune system should work, and what can happen when it doesn't. Meant to take no longer than one class period after a lecture or workshop, this resource is primarily used as an introductory resource or even a hook into studying the immune system.

Teaching style

My classroom is centered around building relationships with my kiddos. I'm a firm believer of "Maslow's before Bloom's" and do my best to ensure that all of my students know that at least one adult on campus cares about them. I also aim to teach my kiddos that they are not only capable of understanding content, but growing into young adults that can make a difference in the lives of others.
