This professional development presentation outlines the reasons why a gender gap exists in STEM and how we as teachers can help bolster female participation in STEM subjects. This presentation is suited for all teachers, not just those in science and math, as well as administration and support staff, and includes interactive activities to keep audience engagement up. My own education history
I am NJ certified in Middle School Science, High School Psychology, and Elementary Education. My BA is in Psychology (3.96) and I have 2 MA's in Criminal Justice (4.0) and Teaching (4.0). I am currently in school for my third Master's Degree in Physics.
