Element of Me (becomes class periodic table perfect for back to school viewing)
I use this to introduce my Physical Science class and get acquainted with my students as well as use later when teaching about the Periodic Table. Each student is assigned a different element and personalizes it with facts about themselves which includes an acrostic poem. I post everyone's element tile on the wall for back to school night in the formation of a huge wall sized class Periodic Table up to Radon 86. This activity serves a dual purpose for the reason above and then later when actu
