Students will create a game that requires the use of positive and negative numbers. Students can use this to review how numbers move on the number line, or review operations with rational numbers. Students can show their understanding of what they learned from a unit of study. This can also serve as practice for students to write explanatory texts. Students will research about the gains and loses of stocks, then calculate this as if they own stock in companies.
