Facts in Fives is a brainstorming game which uses specific categories with certain letters of the alphabet. Teams or individuals try to fill in as many boxes as possible with category members that begin with the game’s letters. Included are ready-to-play boards and a blank board for multiple uses. Also included are category and letter cards.

These forms are helpful for Morning Work on Mondays. They allow the students to share about their weekends and have a prompt for discussions. It gives the teacher a writing sample or an insight into the students’ thinking.
This worksheet, when enlarged onto 11 x 17 inch paper, serves as a record for those special events during the school year. At the end, everyone has memories of the year.
