Here is the document I send home regarding Classroom Helpers. Although a bit time consuming to change jobs every month or so, it was a massive help in the long run. This is a form that I have found very helpful over the years. I send this home over the summer and again on the first day of school. Keeping this in my personal files has helped me on numerous occasions when I have needed on hand information that would have taken multiple phone calls or digging through files to obtain. This also give me a chance to get to know a bit more about my students from the family's perspective.
For behavior management we have used the Star Bucks as rewards. This has been a very successful method of rewarding students for desired behaviors and achievement of goals throughout the year. Here is a basic explanation sent home to parents. Please check my store for more documents on Star Bucks!
This is a basic letter that I send out to my incoming students over the summer. I have left it as a word document so that you can change it in any way that you see fit.
