In this file you will find 5 templates for recording observations in your classroom. There are 2 for whole group observations, and 3 for individual student observations.
There is no right or wrong way to make an informal observation. It comes down to what you are comfortable with and what works for you in your room. I hope that one (or more) of these forms will be helpful to you this school year!

About the store
Experience
I have been teaching for 24 years and I still love every smile, every lightbulb moment, and every sticky hug!
Teaching style
I love hands-on learning and watching the children explore new ideas. I feel that children learn best when they are having fun and are actively engaged in learning. This makes it a whole lot more fun for me too!
Additional biographical information
I love spending time with my wonderful husband and my three beautiful little children!! I also enjoy reading, scrapbooking, painting and organizing!
