In this project they are asked to create their own real life situation using a system of equations and solve it using both the elimination and substitution methods. I printed this on color paper, and gave my students graph paper to complete their project on. Some students struggle with creating a relevant situation, so providing a model is ideal. Students get really creative with open ended projects like this one!

Teaching style

I love to teach math to all levels of students: intervention, at level, and advanced. I create lesson plans to reach ALL types of learners: visual, auditory, kinesthetic, interpersonal etc.
