This song by Sol Pereyra is so cool and unique! It is completely school appropriate as well. This exercise includes a single page Word document with a fill in the blank cloze exercise, a mini biography in Spanish and a photo of Sol, a word bank for the cloze, and two additional activities (circle the preterite verbs and personal questions). This Spanish preterite song helps students learn the regular -ar, and -er/-ir endings in a super fun and efficient way! For this activity, students are assigned pairs and ask one another if they can do various activities based on a) ability or b) permission. They are even introduced to the present perfect tense if they have never done an activity and therefore cannot comment on it. This document is in Word, so feel free to edit it as needed to match the interests of your students!
