These reading passages and questions are for beginning readers (kindergarten, special education students, Autism Spectrum students). The passages are simple, short and include plenty of sight words. The questions are also simple. This is an ever growing bundle of passages, I intend to add to it every month or so. This is a great winter/holiday themed literacy center activity. Activity One: Students search for the cards, and record the word on the card to the matching numbered line on the recording sheet. Activity Two: Students count up the numbers, finding each numbered card. Activity Three: Find words like in activity one, and then place in ABC order. Activity Four: Use blank cards for students to fill in the words. You can laminate the cards to use in a center as reusables.

So many students confuse the lower case B and D and the lower case P and G. These two posters can be displayed on your walls or printed smaller to put in the students binders/notebooks. Its a cute kinesthetic way to remember the letters.
