These posters can be printed full size or 2 per page to fit your available space. The verb posters include Spanish in large bold font and English in smaller regular font underneath. I have not included the vosotros form with these posters. I leave these on my wall all year long and refer to them as we tell stories in the target language. Towards the end of the year, I use small cards to cover up the English words. You could also use post-it notes to cover up the English words during your assess

This is an interactive whiteboard lesson on use of definite and indefinite articles. It includes a brief grammar lesson and sample slides for questioning and review as well as a short quiz section at the end to do with your class individually or in groups. This is a stand alone lesson that typically will take around 40 minutes to an hour to complete depending on how many questions you ask your students (not including the ones on the question slides).

This is an automatic (timed) powerpoint that covers 16 Spanish words for classroom objects. The first three times, it shows the words with the picture of the object. I use the first time through to teach the students sign language or a gesture to go along with each word and practice on the next two times through. The second and third time through they get faster and we say the word while doing the gestures. The next time through it shows only the Spanish word and I wait and let the students show

This short activity is intended to practice the verb estar, the days of the week, and expressions of frequency. Included is a smart notebook file and a student worksheet. The smart notebook file will take students on a tour through Central America trying to chase down the pizza thief. Students will copy the sentence for each country then use the included graphic organizer chart to discover the location of the thief and recover the stolen pizza.

This powerpoint lesson has 44 slides that guide you through teaching students how to tell time in Spanish. I can spend 1 or 2 days on this usually depending on how large the class are. I use laminated blank clock faces with this lesson so students can work along with the lesson to practice the concepts. This hands-on approach has really helped some of my high school students who previously could not read an analog clock at all. I hope it works well for you too!

This webquest activity follows the Frida Kahlo museum activities. Students must have internet access and be allowed to access the website in order to complete this webquest. This can be assigned to any grade from second grade up. It was designed for 7-10 year olds.
