This powerpoint can be used at any level to teach the letters and the sounds they make. Each slide has the letter, a word that begins with or contains the letter, and a picture to represent the letter. This is an old version of the alphabet that includes ñ, ch, ll, and rr. When I teach this lesson, I point out to the students that some letters have different names or are now considered only sounds.

This powerpoint is used to teach primary and secondary colors in addition to black, white, and brown. The slideshow includes pictures of animals and objects to ask students questions about the colors once taught.
This is an automatic (timed) powerpoint that covers 16 Spanish words for classroom objects. The first three times, it shows the words with the picture of the object. I use the first time through to teach the students sign language or a gesture to go along with each word and practice on the next two times through. The second and third time through they get faster and we say the word while doing the gestures. The next time through it shows only the Spanish word and I wait and let the students show
This powerpoint lesson has 44 slides that guide you through teaching students how to tell time in Spanish. I can spend 1 or 2 days on this usually depending on how large the class are. I use laminated blank clock faces with this lesson so students can work along with the lesson to practice the concepts. After completing my "Mystery Central America" together in class, this is a followup project that can be assigned so students can "show what they know" about using the verb estar, locations, days of the week, and expressions of frequency.
