This is a delicious and fun way to discuss and teach how sampling methods can be used in math and science. This goes step by step and has students use data sets from other students as well. Students will make a bar graph as well as calculate averages and percentage errors and attempt to predict what should be given in any random bag of m & ms.

These clipart shapes are perfect to use for practice making models with students. These pieces are sized to be used as student manipulatives on their desks or printed and laminated with magnetic tape on the back for whiteboard use. For student use it is suggested to print and laminate these shapes, then cut them out to create movable pieces that can be written on with Expo Markers. Experience

Teaching style

I really focus on building relationships in my classroom and trying to get my students to be excited about science! Curiosity and Inquiry take the lead so that students have the desire to want to learn.

My own education history

I grew up in California and after graduating high school I got my Bachelor's degree in Natural Science with a Biology Emphasis from Fresno State. I recently finished my Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction for Science Education from the University of Texas at Arlington.
