Input - Output Engaging Introductory Game
This game is centered around students being able to apply a rule to an input to create an output. Students are given a rule and must find their matching partner. The only prep is to cut out a set of cards for each student. The student should receive one card from each color. Project the slides and read the directions to the game with the students. Experience
I have experience primarily in the fourth grade classroom. I teach dual language students. I also used to run my own private tutoring company for all ages. The service focused on building number sense in all age levels ranging from toddlers to high school students.
Teaching style
I prefer to teach using a stations based approach. I believe that when students have control of their own progress a passion for learning is fostered. I am also a firm believer in data based instruction and using our knowledge of students to individualize all instruction. Differentiated instruction is good instruction.
