About the store
I have spent my 19 years of teaching all in the upper grades, with different populations of students. I spent a year working with Gifted students, several in a heterogeneous grouping, co-taught with a Special Education teacher, and finally spent the bulk of my teaching working with a classroom of very diverse learners at the middle school level. Some were reading more than 3 grade levels below, some received services, but others did not. I found myself creating bilingual materials to meet the needs of my growing number of EL students. I have spent many years working as the advisor for our school newspaper, and am the co-director for the musical! I just started teaching a Civics class, so you can look forward to materials coming soon from my experiences moving forward with creating a new curriculum! Whew!

This project asks students to share a book with the class, giving guidelines for the presentation. If you have younger students in your school, you can even have the students share with an authentic audience! It is always a hit!
