Simplify to Maximize learning

A comprehensive behavioral management plan that can be incorporated into the daily schedule from day one! Students earn dollars as incentives to reward positive behavior, citizenship, and classwork. Students record the dollars they earn in a bank savings account and engage in an authentic learning activity where they can spend money after they have earned it on prizes from the class treasure chest. For every $20 students earn they receive an interest incentive from the bank. Students respond

This activity allows students to actively measure items using a ruler, tape measure etc. Real hands-on experience to determine the most logical measurement to use. Item space 'blank' so teacher/student can choose items to measure. Could measure items in the classroom, at home, around the school. Item is editable.
