This PP presentation was created for an evaluation. It was made to go along with the TEAM model, but can be used in any classroom. I took special attention to make sure I included slides that model two different types of thinking. It concludes with an extended writing assignment. It uses counters and white boards. I also refer to "brain buddies." These the groups my students get into. You can change that to whatever you like. Enjoy! My kids did!

Objective: Express metric length measurements in terms of a smaller unit; model and solve addition and subtraction word problems involving metric length.

If you are like me, I get really frustrated when a worksheet says "Multiplication Word Problems" at the top. The students know that every problem will require them to use multiplication. Some of my students need a lot of work with trying to figure out if multiplication or division must be used. That's why I created this worksheet. There are 6 problems, but there are two questions for each problem, so really you could grade this as if it had twelve problems. THIS IS AN EASY TO GRADE SHEET!
