This Measurement Scavenger Hunt is a great way to get student up in moving in the classroom. This is also a great way for them to practice converting from centimeters (cm) to millimeters (mm). This activity takes my students about 20 minutes to complete.
This is a great Thanksgiving Coloring Organizer for students who on times 12 with multiplication. My student love coloring but I found it hard to find upper multiplication coloring sheets.
I used this in my classroom once my students mastered all of their math operation facts (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division). I give them three minutes to complete the quiz. If they pass the quiz in three minutes with no mistakes then the next week I will move them onto the next quiz. To create the quizzes I mixed up all the flashcards from each operation to make each quiz unique. This is a great way to keep challenging those students who have already mastered their facts. I tea
In my classroom I have a class store where my students can buy passes at the end of each week. If for some reason I am gone which is super rare. LOL! I encourage my students to try and get 20 done each month. I also encourage them to color in a square for each time they practice their math facts at home.
