I created this powerpoint to explain the MobyMax program to the teachers at my school. Some of the slides have notes. If you print it out in "Note" view, the notes will print out as well. This presentation can be customized to your liking.
I created this assessment for my students with special needs (Non readers as well as ENL students) as the assessments provided by the Envisions Math program tends to be wordy and difficult for my students to understand. This assessment enables the students to demonstrate that they understand and can apply the strategies taught in Topic 1 of the 3rd grade, Envisions math curriculum, without confusing them with multi-step, higher ordered thinking word problems.
These worksheets were created to coincide with the 3rd Grade Math Envisions curriculum (chapters 1 & 2). They can be used as extra practice, small group tasks, alternate assessments for students in special education or homework assignments. Please note that the thumbnails do not show proper page formatting. When you download the pages should be formatted correctly. All pages are editable in Microsoft word.
This activity was created to coincide with the Math envisions lesson on drawing arrays to solve multiplication problems. This activity was created specifically to serve a special education class, where students need extra practice and tangible activities to grasp and practice concepts taught. I created this IEP cheat sheet because the ones I have found online do not contain all the info I would like. I tried to make it easy to fill out (where info can be circled instead of written) as Special Education teachers as we have enough writing and paperwork to do on a regular basis. This sheet can be modified easily, by you, so you can take out info that you don't find relevant.

I created this in effort to provide parental engagement/support for my parents who have begun the remote learning process and are having trouble understanding their role. You can use it as parent engagement/support in helping your parents understand that while they should be assisting their children with understanding assignments, the should also be allowing the children (as often as possible) the ability to practice independence in completing those assignments. There is also a checklist that yo
Encourage your students to express their own thoughts, ideas and opinions while improving their skills in expressive writing through journal writing. Topics are editable. Adjust margins on Microsoft word after downloading to ensure that content is on appropriate pages.

Encourage your students to explore the culture of others through this "Wacky Food" research project. Students first read a Scholastic News article about common foods eaten around the world. Students were then encouraged to research a food from another culture and describe the foo using this form. This activity promoted interest in exploring communities and cultures of people in various regions around the world.
This is a powerpoint presentation and Google Classroom resource (presentation contains link for easy and direct access). I created this to review the 3 properties of addition for my 3rd grade students with special needs. Students can answer questions directly on the slides to demonstrate learning. Slides can be edited for teacher preference.
I created this project to coincide with the Reading Street Story "Kumak's Fish". The project enables students to learn more about the real Inuit people (which the story was based on). The graphic organizer can be utilized with internet resources or a free book on Epic books, which provides all of the answers to the questions. There is an assignment that the students can take home to create a home project based on the story.

Encourage your students to conduct an independent inquiry to learn about the bones in their body. Students can work in groups or individually. This worksheet was created to utilize with the following website: www.CYH.Com. The site is public and can be accessed with a child friendly school network server.
This is a very basic vocabulary/reading comprehension activity/quiz. I create simple, modified assessments to assess their understanding of stories that we read, together in class. At times, I will use these activities as center activities, to reinforce student learning.
