I created this assessment for my students with special needs (Non readers as well as ENL students) as the assessments provided by the Envisions Math program tends to be wordy and difficult for my students to understand. This assessment enables the students to demonstrate that they understand and can apply the strategies taught in Topic 1 of the 3rd grade, Envisions math curriculum, without confusing them with multi-step, higher ordered thinking word problems.
These worksheets were created to coincide with the 3rd Grade Math Envisions curriculum (chapters 1 & 2). They can be used as extra practice, small group tasks, alternate assessments for students in special education or homework assignments.
