I have had the privilege of teaching high school sciences in different settings: 5 years teaching in a Public High School and over 14 years teaching in a Private High School.
This is a 40ish-minute lesson designed for younger children to be introduced to the Fur Trade in North America. The lesson is designed for interaction. Relevant props are helpful, but not required. Students identify individual animals, identify types of furs, and identify the different uses of furs in fashion. My original audience that I designed this for included Prek-3rd grade, but this presentation can easily be adapted for higher levels, and includes opportunities and suggestions for
