Study Skills: Grade Check Sheet

Use this grade check sheet as a routine Monday Grade Check. Students check their own grades and use it for reference throughout the week. Use it for: 1-1 Conferencing, Goal-setting, and Follow up. Students record their current grade and indicate missing assignments or other actions they plan to take in order to raise their grades. It acts as a plan for the week, perfect for giving students choice and responsibility. (Provided as a .docx file so that you can edit the number of class periods.)

Additional biographical information

I love helping students to become independent which translates to teaching lifeskills, especially in the community. When I noticed students who were right on the verge of being independent as they graduated or exited the school system, I was inspired to create a decision-making app to provide a middle layer of support for them and peace of mind for parents. It's called Smart Steps Mobile. See www.SmartSteps4me.com for more information.
