Bee Problem Color w/ Example

Algebra word problem that integrates order of operations, fractions, collecting like terms and multi-step critical thinking. Includes an example I like to use this as an introduction to Algebra II and PreCalculus. I assign it on day 1, for credit and I have it due on day 5. All week long I use the last few minutes of class to revisit the problem and discuss problem solving strategies with the students. It is also appropriate to use as an enrichment activity for PreAlgebra, Algebra 1 and Geometry
