This is a lesson on the vocabulary needed for units/lessons on Ratios, Rates, Proportions, and Scale. Common Core State Standards emphasize vocabulary building and this lesson will do do that. It is 17 pages with the vocabulary list and definitions, I Have Who Has game, Crossword Puzzle, Unscramble and list, Card sorts that can be used in 3 ways, and an assessment. Keys are included. Vocabulary is a main focus when talking about the common core standards. This unit uses 22 vocabulary words associated with units taught for expressions and equations. There are different activities to do to that will help students learn the key vocabulary needed to help in mastering their work with expressions and equations.
