Tally check, tally check is a whole class management tool. I have it laminated on my whiteboard for the students to see. I explain to the them that they are able to earn tallies throughout the week by going above expectation. (compliments from other teachers, impressive kindness, working extra hard, persistence through tough things, etc...)
