Sneaking into Second

This fun game will have your students memorizing their 10s facts in no time! Students match the two numbers on the triangle edges of the domino cards to add up to 10. Forty playing cards are provided in both black and white and color for ease of printing. Differentiation includes easy matches made with the colored cards coordinated so that students can match colors to help with making addition matches. This game satisfies the following Common Core Standards in Math: K.OA.4, 1.OA.6, and 2.OA.2.

This is a fun game that allows pairs of students to practice their addition facts. All you need to provide are 3 six-sided dice, 36 markers (18 for each player) and the Cover Up Mat. Directions are provided right on the mat. Meets CCSS 2.OA.2: Add and subtract within 20. (Fluently add and subtract within 20 using mental strategies. By end of Grade 2, know from memory all sums of two one-digit numbers.)
