I have been a fourth grade teacher since 2002. I love teaching in the classroom. I have tutored children with ages ranging from Kindergarten to college. I have also worked for a software company and taught teachers how to use the software in an online course. Teaching style

In my classroom I enjoy trying to meet the needs of children and accommodate the individual learning styles. I love helping children learn and make new discoveries in learning.

I was awarded the Brodie award in my school. which is an award that is equivalent to "Teacher of the Year"

My own education history

I attended a Montessori School form PreK until 6 Grade. For Jr. High I attended a parochial coed school. For high schoolI attended an all girls Catholic School. I earned my undergraduate degree from Ohio University (B.S. in Elementary Education with a minor in History) I earned my graduate degree from the University of Maryland ( an M. Ed. in Instructional Technology)
