I introduced this addition strategy at the beginning of the school year and my students have been showing great success with it! Great for students to have at their table, anchor chart notebooks, and for small groups.
I bought a plastic drawer organizer on amazon and cut out these labels to make a material organizer. This was a cheap and easy DIY project and I am so excited to use it in my classroom this year!

The assessment has students represent numbers using tens and ones.
I created this editable PowerPoint for ELA rotations within my classroom. This includes a visual schedule and choice board to help students manage their time during workshop time.
Student's will each get a number card and within their table they will have to put themselves in order from least to greatest. My student's really like this activity, it was a great opportunity for them to work together to understand this common core standard.
This is an individual Behavior Chart that works great with student's in my classroom. I give the student a smiley face, a straight face, or a sad face based on their behavior. You can edit the classes based on your schedule!
Fountas and Pinnell Second Grade Sight Words. In my classroom I cut out the cards and taped them on the floor around the room. The students play around the world and try to make it all around the room! They can also be used as flash cards for centers.
This is a great tool to motivate students to read at home! My students keep this in their desk and fill it in every day they read. I give students a prize once they fill out a whole sheet!
