I have taught for 15 years in a center-based special education school. My students range from 9 to 15 years of age, and have moderate cognitive impairments as well as moderate to severe physical impairments. Take Me Out to the Ballgame! Addition Puzzles for Sums 0-5
This is a fun math center activity for addition with sums 0-5 with a baseball theme! Students must put together puzzle pieces to complete equations. Each puzzle has four pieces: the equation, a picture representing the first addend, a picture representing the second addend, and the sum. There are 21 puzzles in all, for all equation combos with sums from zero to five.
