About the store
Welcome to Spedability ♾️✨ I create symbol-supported, adapted resources that help make inclusion easier for educators and more accessible for students. As a Special Education Consultant and former Autism classroom teacher, I've spent over 20 years supporting students with diverse learning needs across self-contained, integrated, and specialized settings. Every resource in this store is designed with real classrooms in mind and created to reduce teacher prep while increasing student access, participation, and independence. You'll find: ✔ Adapted books and activities ✔ Visual supports and AAC resources ✔ Social-emotional learning materials ✔ Life skills activities ✔ Symbol-supported literacy and writing resources ✔ Seasonal and curriculum-connected activities My goal is simple: to help educators spend less time adapting materials and more time connecting with students. Whether you're supporting AAC users, emerging readers, students with autism, or learners who benefit from visual supports, you'll find practical, low-prep resources designed to meet students where they are while promoting meaningful inclusion. If there's a resource you'd love to see in the store, feel free to reach out at spedabilityinc@gmail.com, or on IG: @spedability.shop. Many of my products have been created based on teacher requests! Thank you for stopping by and for everything you do to support diverse learners.
