This is a visual that I created for a student whose behavioral issues seemed to be largely sensory seeking. My school uses the color-coded Zones of Regulation. The visual provides sensory replacements for biting, scratching, and hair-pulling (red-zone choices). I hang the visual near her desk above a bucket of sensory objects/toys. You can change the "green zone" pictures based on available sensory objects.
This daily reflection sheet encourages students to write their name, identify the day of the week, and recall any special activities they completed or services they attended. It also prompts them to choose an overall emotion for the day. This is a great resource for students who are learning to identify emotions. I also have some of my students take the sheet home with them so that they can talk to their parents about their day.
I created this Cryptid report to engage a student who had absolutely no interest in geography, but LOVED monsters and legends. He ended up creating a whole book full of legendary creatures from across the country. This editable print-out focuses on 4 major landmarks - The Rocky Mountains, The Appalachian Mountains, The Great Lakes, and the Mississippi River.
Included in this Christmas Counting Activity: -4 picture counting worksheets for numbers 1-10 -Christmas Tree number matching activity for numbers 1-10
I created these Student Info sheets to put on my students' lockers. It includes spaces for recording their service/specials times, IEP goals, and any special alerts (allergies, sensory/behavioral needs, etc). I also keep copies in my Sub Binder so that someone who is less familiar with my students would be able to quickly learn some of the basic information.

This 100 Days of School activity celebrates the old saying, “Time flies when you’re having fun.” I’ve updated the craft to include an Apple Watch since my students are more motivated by modern technology than the old school alarm clock. The craft comes with 6 optional clock faces so you can differentiate for different ability levels/levels of engagement.
Your students can use this graphic organizer to explore the characters in their reading assignments through a format that they're all too familiar with. I created this activity when I was teaching 9th grade ELA but I have used it with my SpEd kids as well. Just add a picture of the character and you're good to go!
